Terms of Business
This website catalogue cancels all previous versions. We can send our rooted cuttings to all countries within the European Union and the appropriate postal charges will be added to your order when you check out. All orders must be paid for in full at the time of the order being placed by cheque, postal order or credit/debit card.
We do not acknowledge postal orders unless a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed. If there is a difference in the money between your order and the actual cost this will be noted on your delivery note and any refunds will be sent with the plants. We are unable to add any extra plants to existing orders - any additional plants must be treated as a new order and the relevant P&P charges apply. If you require some plants to go to a different address then this too must be treated as a separate order. If you require delivery to be split into two different times of the year this must be treated as two orders.
We will always do our best to fulfil your order as requested and we only send cuttings out when we are happy that they will thrive. If you are in any doubt about any of the cuttings you receive then please see our Guarantee. Please return plants in a strong stout box. To save you a call, if you phone to tell us about a plant you are unhappy with, we shall ask you to return it. Due to the high costs involved we do not offer a replacement plant service for orders outside of the UK. You must return the plants as usual and we will send a credit note or refund your credit card.
If a variety is out of stock we may substitute with the nearest variety rather than hold up your order, unless you state otherwise on the Order Form. If you state that substitutes are not acceptable, we assume that you are prepared to wait until all are ready - if they are likely to cause a long delay, we will refund the money for any that are not available.
Deliveries are normally within 28 days, and in practice usually quicker than this, but please be aware that February to May are our busiest months and orders received during these months will probably take longer as we work on a strict rotation of first come, first served. The answer is to order early for the spring to get ahead of the queue.
We do not post plants out during December, because of delays caused by the Christmas post, so orders received late November might be held over until mid January. We reserve the right to amend prices due to circumstances beyond our control.
All orders are supplied with a free copy of our booklet "Growing The Vernon's Way". For each order received totalling £30.00 or more a free plant of PAC Sassa will be sent with the plants - one per order over £30.00.
The placing of an order constitutes acceptance of our Terms of Business.
